Born in 1804; no place listed. Joined LDS Church, 1836. Moved from Missouri to Illinois, 1839. Settled family on farm near Quincy. Trip to Canada to settle affairs and preach. Genealogical notes. Missionary work, apparently in eastern United States, 1842–44. Returned to Nauvoo after death of Joseph Smith. Member of Fourteenth Quorum of Seventies, 1845. Worked on Nauvoo Temple as carpenter. Went to Iowa and then on to Salt Lake Valley, 1849. Both holograph and photocopy difficult to read. Microfilm runs to 1858.
